This free Magento extension adds support for the Open Graph Meta Data to your site optimizing how your pages are shared, improving social media activity and increasing overall brand awareness. The Open Graph tags convert your page to a rich object data page allowing for social media platforms to automatically determine the page content such as featured image, title and description when a link is being shared.
Increase user engagement from social media platforms by optimizing the way your site pages are shared and viewed. Without Open Graph tags when a page is shared on a social media site their platform scans through the page and makes the best guess estimate as to what the intended page content is and what should be shared. This can get messy if sharing a product page for example with multiple product details from upsells, depending on your page structure the primary product info may not get detected and in some cases, nothing at all gets picked up. These tags are supported and automatically used by all the major social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more.
On the module configuration section, you can specify your store's name and logo which will be used on content pages that don't have an associated image or on the category page that have multiple images. The code snippet is automatically generated and added to your site pages ensuring it works out of the box with any Magento theme and requires no coding knowledge to implement.
